Ingredients:
- 2 cups (60g) Fresh Baby Spinach
- 1/2 cup (15g) Fresh Kale, stems removed
- 1/2 medium (100g) Ripe Avocado
- 1 tbsp (12g) Chia Seeds
- 1/2 cup (75g) Frozen Mango Chunks
- 1/2 small (50g) Green Apple, skin on
- 1 1/2 cups (350ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1/2 inch (3g) Fresh Ginger, peeled
Instructions:
- Pour the 350ml almond milk into the blender first. Note: Liquid at the bottom creates a vortex that pulls solids down.
- Add the 15ml lemon juice and 3g of peeled ginger. Note: This ensures the aromatics are fully pulverized early on.
- Toss in the 60g baby spinach and 15g kale.
- Pulse 5 times until the greens are roughly chopped.
- Add the 100g of ripe avocado and 50g of sliced green apple.
- Layer the 75g of frozen mango chunks on top. Note: The weight of the frozen fruit helps push the lighter greens into the blades.
- Sprinkle in the 12g of chia seeds last.
- Blend on high for 60 seconds until the mixture is silky and vibrant green.
- Check the consistency; it should be thick but pourable.
- Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately while frosty.
