Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (60g) Fresh Baby Spinach
  • 1/2 cup (15g) Fresh Kale, stems removed
  • 1/2 medium (100g) Ripe Avocado
  • 1 tbsp (12g) Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 cup (75g) Frozen Mango Chunks
  • 1/2 small (50g) Green Apple, skin on
  • 1 1/2 cups (350ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 inch (3g) Fresh Ginger, peeled

Instructions:

  1. Pour the 350ml almond milk into the blender first. Note: Liquid at the bottom creates a vortex that pulls solids down.
  2. Add the 15ml lemon juice and 3g of peeled ginger. Note: This ensures the aromatics are fully pulverized early on.
  3. Toss in the 60g baby spinach and 15g kale.
  4. Pulse 5 times until the greens are roughly chopped.
  5. Add the 100g of ripe avocado and 50g of sliced green apple.
  6. Layer the 75g of frozen mango chunks on top. Note: The weight of the frozen fruit helps push the lighter greens into the blades.
  7. Sprinkle in the 12g of chia seeds last.
  8. Blend on high for 60 seconds until the mixture is silky and vibrant green.
  9. Check the consistency; it should be thick but pourable.
  10. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately while frosty.
