Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken breasts completely dry with paper towels and rub both sides with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, dried oregano, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper. Coat the chicken generously, pressing the spices into the meat.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (198°C). Place the breasts in the basket without overlapping.
  4. Cook for 6-8 minutes on the first side, then flip using tongs and cook for another 6-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the basket, transfer to a plate, tent loosely with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
