Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ⅓ cup cayenne pepper hot sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken cubes dry with a paper towel and toss in a bowl with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan until shimmering; add chicken in a single layer and sear until golden-brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
- Reduce the heat to medium. Pour in the hot sauce, honey, and smoked paprika.
- Stir constantly for 3-5 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens into a velvety glaze that clings to the chicken.
- Stir in the Greek yogurt at the very end for a creamy texture and remove from heat immediately to prevent curdling.
- Let the chicken rest for 3 minutes before serving to redistribute the juices.
