Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp cracked black pepper
- ½ cup classic buffalo hot sauce
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Place chicken breasts between two sheets of parchment paper and use a meat mallet to pound the thickest part until the entire piece is a uniform thickness of about ¾ inch.
- Season both sides of the flattened chicken breasts with kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buffalo hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until the mixture is glossy and fully combined.
- Place the chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish and brush two-thirds of the buffalo glaze over every inch of the meat.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18-22 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Remove from oven, brush with the remaining one-third of the glaze, and let the meat rest for 5 minutes to reach a final internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
