Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into even strips
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cayenne pepper sauce
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts completely dry with paper towels to ensure the oil and seasoning adhere.
  3. Toss the chicken in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, and cayenne until smooth and fully emulsified.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the buffalo glaze over the top, tossing to coat every piece.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the sauce has thickened into a sticky glaze and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from oven and let the meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
