Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (15 oz / 425g each) sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) white cake mix
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup / 113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp (2.6g) ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp (25g) granulated sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Pour the canned peaches and their syrup evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle the white cake mix evenly over the peaches, smoothing the powder to the edges with a fork or spatula without stirring it into the fruit.
  4. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, ensuring there are no large dry patches.
  5. Whisk the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar together in a small bowl and sprinkle the mixture over the top of the buttered cake mix.
  6. Bake on the center rack for 45–50 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the top is deep golden brown and firm to the touch.
